DD have been proudly supplying, servicing, and distributing to UK clinics for over fifty years, and we are always trying to improve our service. This drive for improvement has helped us to develop our temperature-controlled courier service, one which is safe, efficient, environmentally friendly and most importantly, MHRA-compliant.
Our dedicated courier service for temperature-controlled products drives sanitized, safety-checked, refrigerated vans across routes that have been risk-assessed for adverse conditions. This services’ drivers have also been thoroughly trained in healthcare distribution. As our couriers' vans are refrigerated, we can cut down on the use of 'passive packaging’ to keep deliveries at their optimal temperature to most UK locations. This helps us to reduce the carbon footprint of our order & delivery process.
These specialist vans will keep your temperature-controlled products protected during periods of extreme weather. Orders will come from temperature-controlled warehouses, via delivery vans kept at the appropriate temperatures, to your clinic. This minimises the risk of your orders exceeding product temperature guidelines, which ensures you and your clinic remain MHRA compliant.

A recipient must be in your clinic to receive Cold-Chain products.
To ensure that your order is delivered with the highest level of security and compliance, we will now only be able to deliver to a clinic if someone is ready to receive and refrigerate their package. This means that our couriers will not be able to leave deliveries in an unsupervised “safe” place, or with a neighbour. All of our refrigerated packaging will display a careful direction to store the product immediately upon receipt.
