DD are proud to announce their support of the Guide Dogs organisation by sponsoring 3 puppies for 1 year who will give independence to someone with sight loss.
Every hour, another person in the UK goes blind, and 180,000 people with sight loss rarely leave home alone. The Covid-19 pandemic has made life even harder for those who have issues with their sight as they are so reliant on their other senses and on other people, and social distancing and lock down has made this particularly challenging.
When someone loses their sight, Guide Dogs are there to make sure they don’t lose their freedom as well. After 24 months of intense training our dogs will become a life-changer for someone who is blind or partially sighted.
